In a Manhattan bar, 2 Scotsmen concocted the concept of a vodka that in their opinion could only be created with the unique skills of Scottish distillers and the insistence on using only Scottish malted barley and Scottish mountain water. No suitable method of distillation actually existed – an entirely new procedure had to be invented, and a decidedly un-traditional, quintuple micro-distillation technique had to be evolved. By adding various fine materials of the highest quality and the 1 barrel lager, a unique single malt distillate was created.
