Like Tamnavulin, Tormore is another distillery to take advantage of the 1960s whisky boom. The unusual looking distillery produces mainly for blends—you’ll rarely find any single malts at retailers. One such exception is the Tormore, 14 Y, which was introduced to the distillery’s core range in 2014. It’s a wonderful Speyside single malt that is produced in limited quantities from carefully selected American oak barrels. The Tormore 14 Y really showcases the distillery’s signature style.
