Once one of the largest producers of Scottish single malt whisky, Tomatin is currently known as a distillery highlighting the ‘softer side of the Highlands.’ At one point during the 1970s, Tomatin had a capacity of 10 million liters per annum—a lot even in current times. Nowadays they’ve scaled down considerably and produce about 60% less, some of which ends up in blends such as The Antiquary. Maturing exclusively in American oak casks, The Tomatin 15 Y is part of their current range for Travel Retail.
