The Norfolk Malt ‘n’ Rye is not your average single grain whisky. While most are distilled in column stills, the Malt ‘n’ Rye was actually made in traditional copper pot stills. Produced by The English Whisky Company in Norfolk, this spirit is made from not just malted barley, but also rye. That’s also why it can’t be called a single malt. The use of rye gives it a distinctly different profile than most single malts. Maturation took place in American oak for an undisclosed amount of time.
