Produced in the Scottish Highlands, located where the river meets the sea. The Deveron single malt hails from MacDuff distillery, near the mouth of the river Deveron. Our distillery was built by four entrepreneurial Scots and a practical production approach by introducing shell and tube condensers (where we cool the vapour back into liquid) into the first gravity-fed scotch whisky distillery allowing us to reduce costs, and our environmental impact.
MacDuff is a comparatively modern distillery, built in 1960, and is an important component of the popular William Lawson blend.
