The Chita is a single grain whisky from Japan, produced by Suntory in its inventive grain whisky distillery in the Chita Peninsula. A rare continuous distillation process is applied using two, three or four column stills. The Chita distillery creates three types of grain whisky—clean, medium, and heavy. These whiskies than age in a variety of casks, ranging from ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, to ex-wine casks as well. It is a smooth and versatile whisky, perfect for a highball cocktail or in the summer months.
