Made with 95% corn and 5% malted barley, the whiskey first spent time in ex-bourbon casks before maturing an additional 4 years in ex-Bordeaux red wine casks. Single grain whiskey is traditionally more of a blank canvas, so the wine influence on this superb spirit is absolutely delightful.
