Blackpitts is the first peated single malt from Teeling in Dublin, and only the second release ever to have been fully made at their distillery. The Blackpitts area in Dublin was traditionally home to some of the largest barley malting houses in Ireland. What makes Teeling’s Blackpitts so unique is the triple distillation process, which distinguishes this single malt from a traditional Scottish peated whisky.
