Starward is a craft distillery in Melbourne, the foodie capital of Australia. Founder Dave Vitale embraces the distillery’s surroundings and produces whisky that is meant to be enjoyed at the dinner table. Because they’re close to the Barossa Valley, a famous Australian wine region, many of Starward’s whiskies mature in former red wine barrels. Starward Two Fold is a double-grain whisky. For depth, they use malted barley. For an aromatic, dry flavor they’ve also included spirit distilled from Australian wheat.
