Slyrs is a German distillery located on the shores of the Schliersee in Bavaria. They use locally sourced barley and rich mineral water from a nearby Alpine water source. Long fermentation and slow distillation are at the heart of the Slyrs ethos. Like most of their products, Slyrs Single Malt Pedro Ximénez matured for 3 to 6 years. However, this expression spent an extra 9 months in, you guessed it, former Pedro Ximénez casks.
