Independent bottlers buy casks from distilleries and bottle them under their own label. Signatory Vintage is such a company, and they’ve acquired two bourbon barrels from Clynelish, a distillery that rarely releases official bottlings. That means this is an extremely limited bottling, totaling only a few hundred bottles. Clynelish is known for their waxy, fruity and slightly coastal whisky. This release by Signatory Vintage has aged for 10 years and is a fine example of what Clynelish is all about.
