Scarabus 10 Y is an undisclosed single malt whisky from Islay. This legendary whisky island is known for its peaty, smoky whiskies. That tradition is upheld by the Scarabus 10 Y, which has aged in a combination of refill, ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks. The brand is owned by Hunter Laing, an independent bottler of Scotch whisky with a long history in the industry. Hunter Laing recently made their first foray into distilling when they opened Ardnahoe, a distillery on Islay.
