Ron Barceló - Imperial Onyx

Ron Barceló - Imperial Onyx

Dominican Republic

Just like the other rums by this brand from the Dominican Republic, Ron Barceló Imperial Onyx is made from 100% Dominican sugarcane juice rather than molasses. Its Imperial Onyx has aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels with a heavy char. However, there’s an innovative twist that sets this rum apart. After the initial aging period, Ron Barceló Imperial Onyx is filtered through onyx stones to obtain a rum “with intense, deep notes and a unique character.”

Ron Colón - Red Banana Oleo

Ron Colón - Red Banana Oleo

El Salvador

The initial inspiration for this creation came from seeing the red banana trees growing on the Jags Head Coffee Farms in El Salvador. The large leaves give shade to the fragile coffee cherries. The bananas are soft and have a sweet flavor when ripe. They taste like a regular banana, but with a hint of raspberry sweetness. So the quest for the perfect banana flavored Rum started. And Ron Colón went on to create our own Red Banana Oleo Rum.
