While not the only whisky distillery in Wales, Penderyn is certainly the only one with international appeal. Their production process is curiously interesting, as the Faraday still is unlike any other. It produces a clean, yet flavorful spirit at an industry high of 92 percent, which is watered down before being filled into casks. Penderyn also has traditional pot stills, and the Penderyn Celt is likely a mix of the two. It was finished in ex-peated quarter casks and even has a Kosher certificate.
