For this Nikka Pure Malt whisky matured malt whisky is used, whose grain is originated from Miyagikyo and malt originated from Yoichi Distillery. Partially matured in sherry casks and bottled at 43% alcohol, this complex whisky won Gold in 2014 in the Category ‘Japanese Blended Malt Whisky 13 to 20 Years’ of the World Whiskies Awards and was winner of the World's Best Blended Malt in 2015.
