Murray McDavid is large independent bottler of Scottish whisky, located in the Speyside region of Scotland. They have stocks of whisky from all kinds of different distilleries, giving them the opportunity to create The Speysiders. This blended malt is part of Murray McDavid’s The Vatting series. It matured in a combination of Bourbon and Sherry casks, before spending a final period exclusively in Sherry butts. It aged for just over a decade and has turned into a whisky that is more than the sum of its parts.
