Dubbed “The Beast of Dufftown” by whisky writer Dave Broom, Mortlach has an excellent reputation and produces a rich and meaty whisky. For years the Mortlach was one of the best kept secrets of the whisky world but now Mortlach has been thrusted into the limelight by its owners. The Mortlach 25 Y is the most luxurious and sumptuous expression from this distillery. Matured in mostly refill American oak casks and aged for a quarter century.
