Originally released as a travel retail exclusive, this Mortlach 14 Y is named Alexander’s Way. That’s Alexander Cowie, the former owner of the distillery who came up with the unique process of distilling the whisky 2.81 times. It makes for a very meaty and impressive spirit, which in turn resulted in the best nickname of any Scottish distillery, the Beast of Dufftown. The Mortlach 14 Y has been matured in refill bourbon casks and sherry casks and showcases some of the best this distilling giant has to offer.
