The new Mackmyra Stjärnrök is part of this Swedish distillery’s seasonal collection. Each fall and spring they release a limited edition with a twist. The Mackmyra Stjärnrök is a smoky and sherried expression (courtesy of Oloroso sherry casks). Part of the whisky also matured in casks that previously held local cloudberry wine. With this single malt Mackmyra once again lives up to its reputation of creating whisky that’s wonderfully intricate and innovative.
