A blended malt is the most high-end of blended whiskies, composed only of malt whisky and completely forgoing grain whisky. Lower East Side Whisky is such a blended malt, made from malt whiskies sourced from all over Scotland. It is made by the same people that started the Borders Distillery, an upstart in the Lowlands of Scotland and the first distillery in the Scottish Borders since 1837. If the quality of their Lower East Side Whisky is anything to go by, their own single malt should be delicious!
