Over the past centuries, nearly 100 Scottish Malt Whisky distilleries have closed due to the Industrial Revolution, draining, global crises, world wars and overproduction. The Lost Distillery Compagnie dives into the forgotten logs of these lost distilleries, and their 'Master Blender' bleaches these notes to their Single Malt. The Dalaruan distillery was in use from 1825 to 1925 in Campbeltown; closed because of the American drainage and under the influence of increasing unemployment. This Dalaruan is characterized by its smokiness.
