The booming popularity of limoncello in the 1980s gave rise to the production of Golmar Limoncello by Zanin, originally a producer of grappa. In order to make a limoncello that adheres to traditional practices, they relied on the advice of local “nonnas” who used to produce limoncello by hand. Golmar Limoncella is made from lemon peels that are macerated in alcohol for 20 days.

Limoncello di Filleto is an Amsterdam- based Limoncello, handcrafted solely from organic Amalfi lemons, water, alcohol and sugar. After Amalfi lemons have rested in alcohol for 3 weeks and the lemon infused alcohol is mixed with sugar water, the limoncello is left to rest for some time to create a perfect balance of citrus flavor, sugar content, alcohol finish and viscosity.

Initially as a hobby, but after winning the silver medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition, the hobby turned into a serious job. For the Fiorito Limoncello the best Siracusa lemons are used. Fiorito Limoncello is a unique product without additives and is softer and fresher than other limoncello's.

DiGusti is an authentic limoncello made from lemons from southern Italy. The lemon peels are containers for essential oils, which adds to the thick and fatty mouthfeel of the DiGusti Limoncello. This Dutch limoncello has won several gold medals at the World Spirits Award. DiGusti was also awarded at the Catavinum World Wine & Spirits Competition, where it won the Great Gold, which is this competition’s highest honor.

Luxardo is one of the oldest European producers of liqueurs and spirits, mainly known for their Maraschino liqueur. Impressively, the company is still controlled by the same founding family. Their artisanal Luxardo Limoncello is produced according to the original family recipe from 1905. The production methods includes infusing alcohol with peels, pulp and juice from lemons that were harvested in southern Italy.

Limoncello Di Capri is a sweet, artisanal liqueur respectful of the traditions and the flavours of the island of Capri. It is made exclusively from the Ovale di Sorrento, a lemon with a P.G.I. certification (Protected Geographical Indication). Its skin is rich in essential oils that give body and flavor to the final product. The original recipe was created in the early 20th century by Vincenza Canala, owner of the legendary Mariantonia hotel.
