Originally founded by a group of whisky enthusiasts during a sauna session, Kyrö is a craft distillery in Finland that is known for their excellent rye whisky. The distillery is located in an old dairy and cheese factory. Kyrö Wood Smoke gets its distinctive taste from rye that has been introduced to a touch of alder smoke in a 100-year-old "riihi" barn. It then matured in ex-bourbon, French oak and new American white oak barrels.
