Jack Daniels Triple Mash is a ''bottled in bond'' whiskey, meaning it was distilled by one distiller in one distillation season and aged for at least 4 years in a Federal bonded warehouse supervised by the U.S. government, then bottled at 50% alcohol (100 proof).
