Isaac Wolfe Bernheim and his brother, Bernard, founded I.W. Harper Bourbon, even winning a Gold Medal at the Chicago World’s Fair of 1893. I.W. Harper was originally launched in the late 19th century, but the revered Kentucky bourbon brand made a return in 2015 after a prolonged absence from the marketplace. It is currently distilled at the New Bernheim Distillery in Louisville with a high corn mashbill of 85 percent.
