Highland Park is one of the most iconic Scotch whisky distilleries. Located on the Orkney Islands, the distillery embraces its Viking heritage. The Highland Park Valknut is the second expression in the distillery’s Viking Series. It is made with a small amount of Tartan barley grown on the island and bottled at a respectable strength. Maturation took place in American oak ex-sherry casks. The Valknut symbol of three triangles represents honorable warriors killed in battle.
