The Glenrothes distillery is located since 1878 at the site Rothes. The oldest of the 3 Manse Brae bottlings is named after the minister. Chosen by the elders for his experience and wisdom, he is the leading authority in the community. This translated Glenrothes to this ‘Ministers Reserve’ that has matured for at least 21 years. For the vatting, a higher proportion of Spanish oak barrels was used. The result is a whisky with a great balance and a lot of character.
