Glengoyne is known for its long fermentation and slow distillation, a philosophy also applied to their maturation regime. It all leads to wonderfully relaxed whisky of which the Glengoyne 12 Y is a prime example. Glengoyne 12 Y is the signature release of this Scottish Highland distillery matured in both sherry wood and first-fill bourbon — the first bringing intensity and richness while the latter adds fresh notes of citrus and vanilla.
