The Glenfiddich Solera system is unique among Scotch whisky distillers. This 15 year old Single Malt comes from 3 types of barrels, Bourbon, Sherry barrels and new oak, and is 'married' in a large Solera cask, made of pine wood from Oregon. The barrel is always kept half full, so that the quality of the topped whisky remains constant. Before bottling, this beautifully balanced single malt is left to settle in a small 'Solera Tun'.
