Minimum eight years matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Light amber in color, this malt has aromas of orange, citrus, raisins, currants, ripe plums and a hint of vanilla. The taste gives warm spicy oak, raisins, apricot jam and gingerbread, followed by notes of cocoa and toasted almonds. In the aftertaste Sherry tones predominate, but they are still nicely balanced with the influences of the bourbon barrels.
