The Icelandic Eimverk Distillery is a family operated distillery founded in 2009 with the mission to make premium Icelandic liquors strictly from local ingredients. This first edition of Flóki Single Malt was released in November 2017 when it became the first Icelandic single malt whisky. It is a single barrel whisky, is handcrafted and produced from 100% locally farmed Icelandic barley and aged for 3 years in ex-Flóki Young Malt barrels under mount Hekla. This results in a subtle yet complex flavor profile.
