On the Isle of Islay lies Loch Finlaggan. It is a place of great importance in Scottish history. The chiefs of Clan Donald chose Finlaggan as their home and quickly became known as the Lords of the Isles. They ruled the islands on the west coast of Scotland during the 13th to 15th century. As a single malt, Finlaggan has only been around for a few decades, but they’ve quickly built a reputation as affordable, quality peat bombs. Matured in a Red Wine cask, the Finlaggan we’ve chosen for this set is no exception.
