The small Scottish Isle of Islay is legendary for its peaty and smoky whisky, and is home to some of the most recognizable distilleries in the world. Finlaggan Original Peaty is a peaty whisky from one of Islay’s finest distilleries, and named after Finlaggan castle. Although there is no distillery near it, this ancient home of the ‘Lords of the Isles’ now lends its name to one of the island’s precious whiskies.
