After falling off the map in the 1930s, the Dunville’s range was relaunched just six years ago. Dunville's Three Crown's Peated is a peaty expression, but not created in the usual way. No peated malt has been used. Instead, this Irish whiskey was finished in casks that formerly held peated whisky. Made from a blend of single malt and single grain Irish whiskeys, this is exciting stuff, as smoky Irish whiskeys are a rarity.
