Cutty Sark Prohibition is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at a high strength. Sitting comfortably at 50% abv, it is made from more than 40 malt whiskies, including Highland Park, Glenrothes, Macallan and Bunnahabhain. But grain whisky from North British and Invergordon makes up the majority of Cutty Sark. According to legend infamous rum runner Captain William McCoy smuggled cases of Cutty Sark into the United States during Prohibtion in the 1920s.
