Compass Box is a boutique blending house, creating some of the world’s best limited-edition blended whiskies. Their new Orchard House is based on the universally deliciousness of ripe fruit. It gathers some of the fruitiest malts Scotland has to offer, including Clynelish and Linkwood. Whisky from other distilleries such as Benrinnes and Caol Ila add some interesting depth and complexity. Much of this interesting concoction has matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, but Compass Box has also used sherry casks and French oak.
