The house Burmester, founded in 1850 by Henry Burmester from northern Germany's Mulln and John Nash from London, ended late 18th century under the name Burmester & Nash. Henry, together with his sons, founded Burmester & Sons and continued to buy and trade Port. This 20-year-old Tawny is composed of various grapes from the Douro Valley - something that is perfectly normal for Port - and has matured on oak wood for 20 years.
