This single malt is the result of a collaboration between brewery Landesbrauerei Rothaus and distillery Kammer-Kirsch, both located on the border of Germany’s famous Black Forest. The brewery delivers a fermented wash, which the distillery turns into a whisky called Black Forest Rothaus Single Malt. The first-ever Rothaus Single Malt was released in 2009 and new batches are created annually. It has picked up several awards since, including a coveted Double Gold at the World Spirits awards.
