The Original Ten was released as part of the new Benriach core range launched in 2020. Benriach decided to completely overhaul their offering, according to master blender Rachel Barrie to “marry the tradition and innovation that is central to Benriach’s story.” The new range is a reimagining of the 1898 origins of Benriach, when the distillery was founded. The Original Ten was matured in a trio of casks—bourbon barrels, sherry casks and virgin oak casks.
