The Auchentoshan Noble Oak is a limited whisky, distilled in 1990 and has matured for 24 years on bourbon barrels. The Auchentoshan distillery exists since 1825 and is located in Glasgow in the Lowlands of Scotland. They distil their whisky 3 times instead of the usual 2 times in Scotland, because Auchentoshan was founded by Irish refugees; in Ireland 3 times is customary. This whisky is bottled on cask strength and has a very beautiful complexity.
