The islands are brought together under one region with exception of Islay. All Island malts have the smokiness and saltiness in common through peat use in the malting of barley. This 14-year-old Arran is a perfectly balanced marriage of both first fill sherry casks and bourbon casks and is a rich single malt with character and depth. It perfectly captures the fresh character of the Arran 10 years with an extra layer of intensity and fruitiness.
