Akashi, 5 Y Sherry Cask (0.5 ℓ)
The Eigashima Distillery is the oldest Japanese whisky distillery on paper – they acquired a distilling license in 1919. But their current distillery was built in 1984 and they’ve only been releasing single malt whisky since 2007. Whisky production at this small family distillery is very limited, as they’re only active during the warmer months. Their Akashi Sherry Cask has matured for 5 years in a top-quality sherry cask: Japanese whisky at its finest!
