The Single Pot Still edition of the Writer's Tears is an Irish whiskey that was distilled 3 times in the same copper pot still. It has been matured primarily in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in ex-Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks from Spain and ex-Florio Marsala Hogsheads from Sicily which makes it a truly unique Irish whiskey while keeping the true Irish Whiskey making craft.
